Hey mi amigos. We have a new GLA Minecraft server in the planning however that is only if there are actually people interested in one.
I would kindly ask people to comment and let us know if you are interested in a minecraft server and hopefully atleast semi regularily playing in it.

Feed the beast is shit imho, we had among my friends. The mods in it have no synergy among each other. There are many items that do each others work, others a lot harder to get than some. While I admit that FTB gives you good shit for making traps and interesting bases, I don’t like it’s overall feel. Anyhoo it’s not up to me anyhoo so this is just my opinion.

Though if we get FTB, I suck ass at technical stuff so I’ll try it out but fail at it probably.. In the end I’ll probably try to make some huge fistfuck mcdeath tower that contains traps and puzzles people can run through and maybe get some reward in the end.

Feed the beast looks kinda dull – a lot of it is ‘make machine x so you can more efficiently get x so you can make machine y so you can make machine z’ and they’re all dull grey boxes full of numbers and rules. I’m a physics so I see enough of that as it is.
On the other hand, the FTB magic pack looks kinda interesting. Magic and mystery and wonder and alernate dimensions and wizard wands and new biomes and shit. I’d install that. Anyone got any other modpacks to reccomend? (Or recommendations for me to go vanilla?)

Everyone okay with DivineRPG? It’s basically minecraft, but more ores, more weapons, more armour, more drops, more blocks, more dimensions… just more of everything. Setting up the server pretty soon. The thing I like about this is that it doesn’t really change much about the vanilla game\overworld, it just adds a bunch of dimensions full of new shit. There are hundreds of new weapons and armour sets and mobs (it’s actually kinda diablo-style in that regard). Also plenty of stuff for builders and miners.
