Specs won a competition and went to go and play a Nintendo Switch. Was it any good? Not really. There, I saved you two hours.

Happyman toiled while editing this episode. Catsman apologizes again.

And it’s out tomorrow!

I have played some more BotW now (about 7 hours, without breaks) and it’s pretty fun. Framerate is worse on the WiiU than what I saw on the Switch, but it seems that the version on the Switch I played had the same framerate issues as the full retail release.

Despite framerate issues, the game is extremely fun and I’d be playing it right now if it wasn’t for final exams being in under a month’s time.

Happyman

this episode has no outro because it is just 2 hours out of a 6 1/2 hour long (!!!) file, the remaining 4 and a half just being casual banter that i didn’t want to sift through to find an ending point

this is what happens when i’m not there to moderate

a drunk live podcast should be coming up soon, from our january meetup at moogle’s

We did just keep on recording while talking about politics, streams and random stuff like that. We need you, Happy.

6 1/2 hours sounds like a lot of hours.

I imagine the logical endpoint of GDV is a 3 million year long podcast spanning well beyond the entirety of human history. Then Happyman would have to edit it down to a far more reasonable 1.3 million year long podcast, leaving in only the best bits such as that time Hexler was loudly forming a neutron star in the background, or that time Mao accidentally disrupted the orbital paths of a binary star system thereby ruining the Family Feud segment.

Catsman

Imagine how many steps I could contrive in a connections game that spanned millennia.

I want a Switch but was too lazy to pre-order one, so I wonder when I’ll actually be able to find one without too much of a hassle.

Also: giff Max Hyperdrive?
